Hello! You can call me Crys. I'm 26 years old and I use he/him, xe/xem, and ey/em/eir pronouns!I'm a queer disabled artist who started drawing in around June of 2019, when I joined the furry community. While I'm not very deeply involved in the community these days, I really love drawing anthro animals and anthro-adjacent closed species.My main sona is Cloud Nine, though I also use many other characters to represent myself. I spend a lot of my time creating worlds and stories for my characters to interact with.Besides art, my other major hobbies include writing, playing games, and music. I love houseplants, stickers, languages, and singing. My special interests include venomous animals and AI ethics! (That is, the question "how do we approach technology like AI in an ethical way?" It's been an interesting couple of years for me.)

Do you take commissions?
I currently only take commissions in the various Discord servers I'm in! I make temporary listings for specific types of comms, and when I'm no longer inspired for it I don't take it any longer! This is the solution I've discovered for managing my burnout, which otherwise gets really terrible trying to draw for money.Can I repost your art?
If I do art specifically for you and/or you are the owner of the character I drew, I would prefer that my art not be reposted, especially on social media I don't have. If you own the art, feel free to post it with direct credit, but otherwise please stick with interacting with my work directly!Can I use your art as an icon/banner/etc?
If you commissioned it or own the character in the image, feel free! Otherwise, please contact me and ask first. Images of my characters are personal to me and I would prefer them not be used as other peoples' icons, and the art I've been commissioned for belongs to the person who paid for it!

A lot of the things we know about our system aren't things we're comfortable sharing on a public page like this, but we can say that we get along well and consider our systemhood to be a benefit, not a disorder.If we ever happen to be in a Discord server using Pluralkit, we'll have our username (crystalpangolin) set as our system tag to make things as legible as possible for other people!We are extremely open about being a system in our offline life, but a lot more wary with details online. I am a traumagenic system who is also a committed supporter of endogenic systems. I am categorically against trying to claim someone else’s system experiences aren’t what they say they are; we know ourselves best, and it is never my place (or anyone's place) to try to tell someone else what they're experiencing.If this is going to be an issue for you, genuinely just block me. I've watched this same argument go on for ten years -- and I've also watched the science evolve to support the existence of systems that weren't caused by trauma. It hurts all of us to deny these things. The world is more mysterious and more beautiful than we know.Personal Information
While the people you're most likely to speak with are very friendly and happy to share about themselves, many of my system members are incredibly private people. If someone doesn't volunteer information here or in conversations with you, we ask that you don't try to dig further. Please don't make assumptions about who we are or what we're like. This goes double for fictives whose sources you know or suspect -- if you think you know someone's source but you haven't been told directly, keep it to yourself.Fronting
We are not good at indicating who's in front in our online communities. Sometimes we'll put it in our discord status, sometimes we'll use emoji indicators, and very rarely we'll use Pluralkit to proxy, but we do genuinely just forget all the time. We encourage people to ask!

Sona: VaingloryAmiable and high energy, with a lean toward the strange, the visceral, and the macabre. A huge fan of fictional violence and gore; as it happens, it also likes to make art and stories involving those subjects. Prefers to work on fewer characters at a time, developing them and their stories more deeply before moving on to something else.Ven prefers the sketch stage of art, and isn't afraid to leave sketches half-finished. Its favorite original story is fondly named "dog world."Interests: Art & writing, alone and with other people. Gore & violence, making characters work for their happy endings. The Old Guard (Netflix), Baldur's Gate 3, Cult of the Lamb, houseplants, and many of the things other system members like, too! Ven loves to love things, and shares its interests widely.

Sona: JupiterBren is a dry, sarcastic kind of person. He's kind of a bitch, but he has a lot of compassion for the people around him, and most of the time when he gets upset it's on another person's behalf. He has a strong sense of justice. Allergic to vulnerability, hates sharing personal information, loves being able to joke around. Great taste in music.He's always looking out for the rest of the system; it's especially important to him that we're all safe and happy, and he isn't afraid to go out of his way or burn bridges to make sure of it.Interests: Clothes & fashion, sculpture, music (emo, punk rock, pop punk, punk metal), fire, houseplants.
